Alex Kline - President & Facilities



Alex lives in Libertytown with his wife Jessica and their two children, Emmett and Ellie Kay.  His family joined TLL in the spring of 2022 and he joined the Board of Directors as the Facilities Manager in the Fall of 2022.  He took an immediate interest in helping TLL improve their fields and has worked hard along with other members of the BoD to get the fields in the shape they are today.  He was elected the President of the BoD in August of 2023 and is looking forward to his second year as the President and Facilities Manager.  Alex works for a national landscape company, LandCare and in his free time (when he is not at the ball fields) you will find him and his family hunting, fishing, kayaking the Monocacy river and backpacking the Dolly Sods Wilderness and Appalachian Trail.  He has played baseball his entire life, coming up through the little league system all the way through college at West Virginia University.  He is looking forward to many more years with TLL and is working hard to try and instill a true sense of community throughout the league.

Gary Tyler - Vice President



Gary is an Emergency Response Technician for the State of Maryland. He lives in Thurmont with his wife Nicole and their 3 sons Tyler, Weston and Levi. Gary is an assistant coach for Levis coach pitch team and also for Westons CYA football team. In his spare time he enjoys civil war reenacting. 


 

Carrie Laird - Player Agent


Carrie and her Family love TLL baseball! Her son, Evan went through the program from TBall to Majors and now her daughter, Harper is coming through and at the coach pitch level this year.  Carrie has spent many years with the program and on the TLL board. First as the Team Mom Coordinator and now in her 3rd year as a Player Agent.  "I think TLL is something special. We are a family here and I enjoy getting to be a part of it.".  When Carrie and her family aren't at some sporting event (she also coaches cheer), you can find her with her family and friends, or trying to be crafty.  She is looking forward to this upcoming season, and cannot wait to see everyone at the ball field!


Nicole Tyler - Player Agent



Nicole lives in Thurmont with her husband Gary and their 3 boys.  Ty and Weston have aged out of TLL and Levi plays at the coach pitch level. Sports are all year long in the Tyler household. Spring is for baseball and lacrosse, Fall is for soccer at CHS and CYA football. Winter is for CYA basketball. Nicole is her boys loudest cheerleader and their #1 fan. She is a preschool teacher and on the rare occasion she gets free time she likes to spend it with her family and catching up with her closest friends. 

Justus Yocum - Treasurer



Justus has 2 boys in TLL (both in Majors). He has been coaching at TLL for 8 years. Justus grew up playing for Thurmont Little League and continued playing baseball through his college years for Mount St Mary's University as an outfielder. His wife, Alisha, has been a team mom for both baseball and football. She has been instrumental behind the scenes and never gets enough credit for what she does. Justus currently works as an accountant for Evapco in Taneytown. In his free time he enjoys hunting (especially turkey) and fishing for whatever is in season. 

Brittany Tinsman - Secretary


Brittany has been a part of TLL since 2017, when her son started T-ball. She was Team Mom for two years during his spring seasons in coach pitch. Brittany has two children. Her son Kaiden, who played baseball at Thurmont Little League from 2017-2024 until he aged out and her daughter Karlee, who will be in coach pitch for her second year this coming Spring. When Brittany is not at the ball field, she is helping coach her daughter’s mini pony cheer squad and watching her son play JV football. She also enjoys time spent with her friends and family. This is Brittany’s second year on the BOD

Darryl Dextradeur - VP of Majors

Darryl started coaching at TLL 20 years ago for his eldest of 3 sons, Thomas. He then followed with coaching his second son, Hayden, at TLL then moving to travel ball. Now he is back coaching in the Minor Division for Julian. Darryl has been supported by his wonderful wife, Tammy, of 23 years. He has always enjoyed coaching and finds it very rewarding to teach so many great players over the years. He enjoys watching players develop a passion for the game and grow as individuals through the seasons. When not at the field, he can usually be found working with Julian at home or watching sports on TV.



Jacob Fisher - VP of Minors


Growing up playing baseball in Emmitsburg, Jacob has loved baseball all his life. Previously he helped coach a baseball team in Emmitsburg, helping them win Cal Ripken league state tournament and has also had a hand in every season his son Jace has played. Joining TLL in 2022, this is his first season as VP of minors. When he’s not coaching you can find him on the softball field playing himself, working as a lineman or hanging out with his boys Jace and Jamison. Jacob is looking forward to helping the kids grow and learn this season. 


Nathan Laird - VP of Coach Pitch



Nathan has enjoyed coaching baseball for the past several years. This will be his 2nd year as Coach Pitch VP. He has been in TLL in coaching and VP capacity for several years. His son has gone the whole way from T-ball through majors. His daughter is on her 2nd year at the coach pitch level. He enjoys helping the players be the best possible player and enjoys watching them grow to love the sport. He not only enjoys coaching Baseball but also enjoys coaching Football.  He is excited for all the growth that TLL has been experiencing and looking forward to another great year.


Hillary Inocencio - VP of Tee Ball / Concessions Manager


Hillary and her family joined TLL in 2019 for the Spring T-Ball Division season and never left. They signed up not knowing anyone involved with TLL and a few short years later, the family had gained new friends for life. Hillary has been married to her husband Max for over 11 years. Outside of volunteering with TLL, Hillary is a busy mom of 3 (Tanner- Majors, Wyatt- Minors, and a Marlaynna - T-Ball). Hillary loves to be outdoors camping, having movie nights with the kids, and simply spending time with her family.

Amanda Unger - Concessions (Co-Chair)



Amanda is an Emergency Medical Assistant. She lives in Thurmont with her Husband Travis and their son Carson. Carson has been playing for TLL for 2 years and will be playing coach pitch this upcoming season. Amanda loves watching Carson play ball. In any spare time she has between all of Carson's sports she volunteers with the Thurmont Ambulance Company and has been an EMT for 20 years. 

Ryan Kint - Sponsorship/Uniform Coordinator


This is Ryan's first year as the TLL Uniform Coordinator and Sponsorship Coordinator. He has been involved with the TLL since the fall ball season of 2022 as an assistant coach in Tee-Ball and Coach Pitch coaching his son Carson. Ryan spent a lot of time in TLL as a kid growing up in Thurmont, playing in minors, majors and then senior ball. Ryan's daily profession is a High School Engineering Teacher at Walkersville High School. He's been in education since October of 2010 after he made a career switch. When he's not teaching and coaching, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family Jami, Willow and Carson. Also, he likes doing outdoors activities, watching sports and 3D printing. He looks forward to a great 2024-2025 baseball season and supporting the players, coaches, parents and the rest of the league through his position.

 


 

Justin Wolfe - Equipment Manager



Justin grew up in Smithsburg and moved to Thurmont in 2021 with his wife and 2 children. His oldest son played Tee Ball for TLL in fall 2022 and continued into Coach Pitch the next season. Justin became a Head Coach for his son's team and then decided to join the board. Justin works for Leidos. In his spare time he enjoys bringing his kids to football, hockey, and baseball games. 


Rachel Workman - Team Mom Coordinator



Rachel has been a part of TLL since 2015, when her oldest son started T-Ball. She now has two sons in the league. Her boys are now 11 and 8 years old and play in the Major and Minor divisions. Her husband Josh has always helped coach the boys over the years and recently took on a Team Manager position in the Minor division. When Rachel is not at the ball field, she enjoys spending time with her family at their river property in WV. This is Rachel’s first year on the Board of Directors and she is looking forward to a great 2022-2023 season!




Liz Day - Team Mom Coordinator (Co-Chair)

Kristin Wolfe - Information Officer/Event Coordinator


Kristin moved to Thurmont in 2021 with her husband Justin (who is also on the board) and their 2 sons (Braden - Minors and Connor - TBall). Braden started with TLL in fall of 2022. By spring the following year, she became an assistant coach for Braden's team which lead to joining the board in Fall 2023. Kristin is currently an assistant coach for both of the boys' teams. She grew up playing softball and is excited to be a part of their baseball journeys. Kristin works for Frederick County Government. When not at baseball, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. 

Kevin Riffle - Safety Officer


Kevin, his wife Megan, and two children, Scarlette and Devin have been involved with TLL for many years. Since 2016 Kevin has volunteered as a coach, manager, and umpire as Scarlette and Devin have moved through the divisions. Megan has also served as Team Mom for several of their teams over the years. Kevin grew up playing baseball at TLL, from T-Ball through Senior League, and continued with Babe Ruth and baseball at Catoctin High. Kevin retired from county government in 2021 and currently operates a commercial snow and ice management company. Kevin brings over 20 years of experience in public safety and emergency services to his role as Safety Officer.

Blaine Young - Umpire in Chief

Blaine has volunteered at TLL since 2004, with daughter and son playing softball and baseball.  He played baseball at TLL from 1977 - 1983 and is honored to stay involved with TLL.
Blaine is a life member of the Maryland State Umpire Association since 2010.  He umpires statewide and throughout MD District 2 in support of Little League Baseball and Softball, but is most happy to be supporting his hometown league and working to grow the volunteer umpire cadre in our area.
Blaine, wife Shelley, and son Nathan, live in Woodsboro.  Daughter Nicole, her husband Matt, and grandchildren "Ollie" and "Lillie" live in Thurmont.

Jeannie Constable - Member at Large



Jeannie became involved with Thurmont Little League in 2021 and has loved seeing the impact the league has on the players and community! She has served as a team mom and a volunteer and is thrilled to help support the league as it continues to foster the growth of the players and support the benefits of youth athletics; confidence, sportsmanship, and a team mentality. When she's not cheering on her sons, Jeannie can be found hiking and trying to keep up with endless hours of backyard baseball.
